From the moment I stepped into Carly and Chris’s stunning hotel room at the Sheraton, I knew their wedding day would be something special. The spacious room (penthouse suite!), with its breathtaking views of Hamilton, was the perfect space for Carly & Chris as they prepared for their big day together. With clothes flying, last-minute touches being made, and joyful chatter filling the air, the atmosphere was frantic but undeniably happy. Carly’s radiant smile and Chris’s calm, supportive presence amidst the joyful chaos made my job as their photographer an absolute delight!
With preparations complete, we ventured across the street to the Art Gallery of Hamilton for some couple portraits. The gallery’s stunning architecture and captivating art pieces provided a unique backdrop that perfectly complemented Carly and Chris’s modern, chic style. The love between them was palpable, and it showed in every frame.
Next, we took to the streets of downtown Hamilton, capturing the urban vibe and vibrant energy of the city. Carly and Chris were naturals in front of the camera, their chemistry shining through as they strolled hand-in-hand, laughing and enjoying each other’s company. The city’s historic buildings and bustling streets added a dynamic element to their portraits, showcasing Hamilton’s charm and character.
Our final stop for the portrait session was Carly and Chris’s favorite restaurant, Rapscallion & Co. This place has such a chic, moody style that I absolutely adore! The restaurant's unique ambiance provided a dramatic and stylish setting that perfectly suited the couple’s personalities. We captured some truly stunning shots that highlighted their connection and the beautiful details of their special day.
The ceremony back at the Art Gallery was filled with heartfelt moments. Carly and Chris were a bit nervous about sharing their custom vows, but in the end, their words were deeply touching and resonated with everyone present. Their love story, told through their vows, brought tears to many eyes and joy to everyone’s hearts.
Finally, the reception was a lively celebration of love, laughter, and dancing! The energy was infectious, and Carly and Chris’s happiness was shared by all their guests. The night was filled with joyous moments, and it was clear that everyone was having an incredible time.
